I have a problem with powder-like sand in my Indoor Swimming Pool.?
It is impossible to vacuum as it just disperses into the water when the vacuum head passes over it.Within hours it has settled on the bottom again.Help !!
Have you had mustard algae recently? It’s a powdery slime on the floor and sides of the pool that when alive is the color of dry mustard (not the bright yellow of prepared mustard) and after being killed is gray. Unlike other species of algae, the cells are too small to be trapped in your sand filter. It has to be removed by vacuuming to waste (that is, pumping the vacuumed water out of the pool. It’s a real pain.
