Find out where the end of the light is connected and give a tug to see if it pulls easy.
If it pulls easy then tape to old line and pull through. You have to cut the cord from the old line and tape together small enough to fit in the pipe.
If the line is hard to pull then usually it is at the light housing, look and remove what may be holding it.
